Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew growing up in Mexico with a family that was passionate about music. The majority of her childhood listening to classic music, boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic tunes, as well old classical pieces. Ana has a passion for Tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. When she was 16 years old, she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started giving her a more intensive training in singing. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. When she was a student, and a young professional, she sang with many chamber groups and opera choirs in Guadalajara and Mexico City. When she moved from Mexico to the United States around 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She's a frequent solo performer at private parties and events, performing classical Latin American Music. Passion and enthusiasm for art, music, and performing keeps her involved with a variety of local initiatives as a performer and teacher. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing classic Latin American songs and hopes to encourage others to do the same.
