Christopher Robert Evans, born June 13, 1981, is an American actor. In 2000, he began his acting career by playing in TV series such as Opposite sex. Following his appearance in a variety of teenage films, like Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he was renowned for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch. Evans is also seen in film adaptations based on comics such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). In addition to his role as Captain America/Steve Rogers Evans was recognized for his work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) as well as Captain America: Civil War. He was one of the highest paid actors around the globe due to his role in the Marvel series.
